Weekly Current Status- Summer Hiatus

Hi there!

I thought it might be helpful to keep an running update on what we’re working on each week so we can keep you in the loop.
This will give you an idea of what’s available for waitlist, open for orders, and what we will be dyeing next.
I’m going to try to keep this updated weekly. I usually update the “Announcements” post in the VFA Ravelry group as well.

If you need more information about “How the Waitlist Works”, there’s a separate post here.

We work on a variable 6-8 week cycle depending on the season.
Right now this is what we’re working on:

*******************************************************************************************************************************

Weekly update 5/15/17- 9/15/17

CURRENT ORDER STATUS: We are currently on summer hiatus.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES: We have a 30 day return/exchange policy. If you’re pink was too pink, your red wasn’t red enough, your blue was too purple, your purple wasn’t purple enough, your red was too red- whatever the reason just shoot me an email via the contact page, and we’ll either get you something else more to your liking or arrange for a return/refund. Due to the extremely generous nature of this policy, we adhere strictly to 30 days from delivery date.

CURRENTLY IN STOCK

We are currently in between order cycles. There are a few skeins available, but we are mostly sold out.

CURRENTLY OPEN FOR ORDER  – Nothing open for order this week.

CURRENTLY OPEN FOR WAITLIST

Birdsong will be back! For all those who have  Nim Teasdale’s Renaissance Fan queued up, it’ll be go time soon! (If you don’t, go check it out!)
Birdsong will be available in Lux Lace, Lux 150g and Lux XL 225g skeins in different base yarns.
(End yardage will be available when you actually place your order.)

The Greydients series will be dyed next in Lux Lace, Lux 150g and Lux XL 225g skeins in different base yarns.

This order group will also be the first to have HITOFUDE CARDI KITS available as an option. (So exciting!)
They will not be available as a waitlist product just yet They will likely be an XL skein + whatever extra yardage you’re going ot need for sleeves/shoulders.  We hope to make this Cardi Kit option available for all colorways in the future, and expand it to other patterns that are conducive to being knit from the top down. This concept tested out brilliantly and the FO’s were to die for. They were done in the heavier tencel from last year, but the lighter tencel and cottons are going to work just as well, if not better. See my bundle of these beauties here on Ravelry
To scope out that sweet pattern check it out here.

  • Moraine
  • Geode
  • Casco Bay
  • Aventurine
  • Rhodonite
  • Upstate Grey

COMING SOON but no firm ETA:

The next most popular returning colorways on our waitlists will definitely have future batches, we just haven’t scheduled them yet. They are:

  • Sonrisa
  • Morning Glory
  • Pure Purple
  • 80s Night
  • Pure Blue

We also are working on several new colorways to mix in with these returning favorites.
They will be announced when they are available for waitlist.

Any questions at all, please use the contact form on the front page or contact me through Raverly.
Thanks!

Hi Caryl- I’m just working out the final yardage recommendations. Basically, it would be an XL gradient (of a regular 150g gradient for a xsmall) with a bunch of custom dyed end yardage that you would use on the front end of the arms and top. When you connect it and start working the body, you would switch to your main gradient. I think the way it will show up is as an “option” under end yardage or a separate listing. We are working out the logistics of how the orders will be placed on the website. The testers will be completing their final measurement this month probably and will give me a good idea of what yardages to recommend. Stay tuned on that one. Thanks!
